COMPATIBILITY NOTE

Not compatible with DISCUS. DISCUS is designed exclusively for dynamic microphones. Constant Able supports electret and amplified systems with full automatic switching.

If the downlead on your headset has red rings, you will require the TP-105 O-ring as an addition to this PTT. Red rings typically indicate the U-384 (Dual Comm Split Audio*) configuration.

NOTE FOR 2-PIN USERS

While the majority of radio platforms provide VCC (accessory power), the Constant Able is specifically engineered for universal interoperability. For 2-pin radios lacking a dedicated VCC line, the internal Flux Board utilizes a self-sustaining power-harvesting mode. This system safely draws microscopic amounts of energy to maintain premium audio routing and automatic sensing without external power sources.

Maintenance: To support this ultra-low maintenance design, if left disconnected for over 40 days, simply plug the unit into a powered-on radio for 6 to 10 minutes – to replenish the reserves and resume flawless operation.
