SOLGW Broadsword L89 Upper – 5.56NATO (R)

The Broadsword Upper Receiver provides unprecedented rigidity to the system and allows for a more stable and solid lock up of the L89 Handguard, leaving the barrel with less interference from the rail being contacted or flexing during aggressive bipod and barricade loading, resulting in the least amount of POI shift tested by SOLGW. Certain areas of the upper receiver have been reinforced and modified to improve overall durability and longevity. This upper features the Combat Barrel V2, which has significantly increased chamber support and a transfer of material to the rear of the barrel to offset the weight of accessories. This stiffens the barrel, reducing POI shifts between suppressed and unsuppressed use. The gas journal length has been shortened as well to optimized weight distribution, so please note that fixed front sight bases will not fit on this barrel, only low profile gas blocks.

The V2 barrels remain appropriately gassed for use with or without a suppressor of your choosing.
