The BLUF: This is an excellent mid or outer layer for active use, with the Polartec Alpha fleece providing great warmth, Aerolite outer layer protecting against wind and light rain/snow, and yet noticeably more breathable versus similar jackets when your body temp rises.

An insulated jacket that is worn in a stand-alone manner or as a midlayer in conjunction with a wet weather protective jacket when conducting Special Reconnaissance tasks.
