OPTactical Historical SOF Unit Tribute Series:
US Army Special Forces Snipers Skull, Dagger, Crosshairs, and Crossed Arrows. A time honored symbol of excellence in the realm of small unit surgical strike operations.
This is the symbol that represents a particular group of SFODAs in a direct action unit. Its roots come from the original Blue Light project run by 5th SFG (A) at Mott lake in Ft. Bragg, and this symbol was developed by an SFODA that has its roots in the units that came out of that project. The Arrows represent the SF Regiment and American Indian field craft, the Dagger represents covert action and unconventional warfare, the crosshairs represent the long range interdiction capability, the skull represents the same thing any skull represents, death. The original version of this is still in use by certain units, this is modified and is not a direct copy.
Diameter: 4 inches
Adhesive backed sticker.
