Hodge Defense Badger Ordnance 5.56 Charging Handle – Clear Ano (R)

Hodge Defense has selected the Badger Ordnance Gen 3 Ambidextrous Charging Handle for use in Hodge Defense AR-15 rifles, specifically 5.56 caliber-sized upper receivers.

The Gen 3 Ambidextrous Charging Handle is designed to be significantly more robust than a GI handle as well as giving and ambidextrous capability. The Gen 3 latches are just the right size and shape to give you rapid access while having a generous radii to avoid being a snag hazard.

Machined from 7075-T6 forgings, this handle is significantly stronger than those made from billet or extrusions. Large Stainless Steel pins hold the latches in place, and the mechanism is operated by a Stainless Steel sling.

All components, shaft and handles, are forged (not billet) from 7075-T6 Aluminum and Mil Spec Type III Hardcoat Anodized. Finished in clear anodize for Hodge and featuring his signature clover on the top of the handle.
