Emdom/MM Split Ammo SAC

The Emdom/MM Split Ammo SAC is a design collaboration between Emdom USA and MM from www.militarymorons.com.

Measures about 8.5″ long x 6.5″ wide x 7.5″ tall and fits the contents of a large 50 cal ammo can (approximately 1,000 rounds of 5.56mm).

The Split Ammo SAC (Soft Ammo Can) is designed and built to carry loose ammunition. The SAC replaces bulky metal ammo cans and improvised loose ammo carriers like plastic bags and cardboard boxes. The Split Ammo SAC is also ideal for collecting empty brass casings and/or empty shotshell hulls. Although designed and constructed to carry loose ammo, the SAC can be used to carry anything you need. The Split Ammo SAC is identical to our Large Ammo SAC with the only differences being the addition of an internal divider and 2 metal D-rings for attachment of a shoulder strap (not included).

Split Ammo SAC is identical to our Large Ammo SAC except for the addition of an internal divider which splits it into two equally sized compartments. Two metal D-rings were added for the attachment of a shoulder strap (not included), one on each carry handle, placed diagonally from each other.

Split Ammo SAC is constructed of 500D Cordura. Seams are double stitched and seam taped. The bottom is reinforced with a layer of 1000D Cordura. The bottom is rectangular and flat so the SAC will sit flat and open for easy access. The SAC is compact and foldable when empty.

1″ wide low profile handles are constructed of a single length of webbing that wraps under the SAC completely. The handles are as short as possible so as to not get in the way. The take off point is box and cross stitched and reinforced with a second piece of webbing.

On the exterior is a slot pocket with a 3″ x 2″ clear window for displaying a tag with ammo data/type. On the interior of SAC is a 4.5″ x 4″ slot pocket that will hold most pistol or rifle magazine speed loaders, e.g. Maglula or C-Mag loader.

The full size opening features a cinch cord closure secured with a cord lock. Inside the opening is a sleeping bag compression sack style flap. The flap keeps the opening closed and contents secure when the cord is cinched tight. The flap can be folded outwards or tucked inwards out of the way.
