These Platatac PK-JW Chest Rigs originally come with just two harness options - the standard CHICOM H Harness and the CHICOM low pro adjustable shoulder straps; there are now 3 included harness options.The PLATATAC Peacekeeper JW (Jungle Warfare) chest rig is a low profile, light weight general purpose chest rig designed for close country patrols, or hot weather/water operations which can be worn standalone, or in conjunction with over body armour systems. The PK-JW features dedicated pouches that hold just the right amount of essentials and features a front centre zip for easy doffing and donning. The dual centre mounted magazine pouches, one each side of the zip, will hold two M4 mags each, with an recently added magazine pouch for 2x M4 mags, and two vertically mounted frag grenade pouches beside the magazine pouches allow easy access to EO. At the extreme ends of the PKJW are two medium sized zippered accessory pouches with additional clip closure, these will hold a water bottle such as the Platatac 1L flask, 1L Nalgene, or a medium sized radio utilising the internal open-top mesh pouch with bungee retention to hold a 152 or similar sized radio when utilising the 19mm clip to close the pouch. On the sides of each GP pouch are TQ or Strobe pouches that will also hold other similar sized items. All Mag and EO pouches have velcro and 19mm clip closures for added security, and all pouches feature mesh areas in the bottom to provide rapid drainage. Against the body are two open-top mesh pouches which can hold flat items such as maps, GRGs or marker panels. Included with the PK-JW are two harness options, the standard CHICOM low pro adjustable shoulder straps and the CHICOM LW H-Harness which provides a lightweight general-purpose alternative to the low pro straps. Both harnesses are flat sewn, and are designed to remain as flat as possible for use with packs and other harness systems.
