Hours, pay and benefits:
Hours: Monday through Friday, 8am to 4pm
Wage: Starts at $17.00/hr (MORE TECHNICAL JOBS MAY VARY)
OPT is a profit sharing company, quarterly we give a bonus if profits warrant it
Range membership: employees get free membership to H2O Fowl Farms range if desired
Friday lunch: every Friday I buy the crew lunch
Employee pricing: employees have very good pricing on items we sell, items may not be bought for immediate resale.
Must live within commuting distance of OPT We do not have remote work positions open at this time

All employees start on a 6 month probationary status


- Process online orders when needed
- Process phone orders
- Pick orders for online processing
- Other duties: inventory receiving, warehouse inventory, warehouse/ storefront renovation (reorganization), and other miscellaneous duties. OPT does limited walk in sales, employee may assist with those.
- In the past we ran a full on brick and mortar, as of right now, we plan on reopening a limited brick and mortar.

- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields preferred
- Working knowledge of current individual military gear, firearms, and
- preferably a background in military or LE
- Basic knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Able to work around firearms (NOT NEGOTIABLE)


- Manage internal network security
- Assist in webmaster duties as needed (adding new items, updating inventory)
- Setup new computers, software, and hardware
- Troubleshoot network issues, and hardware issues
- Assist with marketing to include social media, and email

- Previous experience in network management, programming, and webmastering
- Working knowledge of current individual military gear, guns, and preferably a background in military or LE (for this position a willingness to learn is all we need)
- Advanced knowledge of computers, and Microsoft Office
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Able to work around firearms
- Capable of basic HTML programming, or trainable
- Capable of learning SM and Ecom media platforms, or previous experience with them

This job starts at $20 an hour, based on ability we will advance from there.


- Develop sales leads with government agencies
- Establish, maintain and grow customer relations with new and existing clientele
- Travel to attend, or display at trade shows as a direct representative of OPT
- Travel domestically to local agencies to demonstrate products
- Process government quotes for agency and unit bids
- Meet in shop with government clients
- Negotiate wholesale prices on large bids with distributors

- Minimum 6 years sales experience, including 3 years sales experience in military/government channels, preferably in arena of tactical gear, apparel, personal protective equipment, footwear, firearms accessories, and night vision devices
- Strong understanding of military/government procurement
- Exceptional history of consistently meeting or exceeding planned sales and profit objectives
- Demonstrated ability to build customer relationships
- Self-motivated, professional, diplomatic, with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to understand and articulate technical properties of items within our product line
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including strong presentation skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Flexibility and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Capable of operating without supervision on external sales trips
- Strong understanding of operating the Microsoft Office suite
- Flexibility and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Background in Military and/ or Law Enforcement is a huge plus
