Based on feedback from the Special Forces Soldiers who have been so vital to the design and planning of SCAR, TangoDown redesigned their BattleGrip Rail Grip for the SCAR program. They made it slimmer, and improved the binary texture to make the grip purchase even more aggressive. And redesigned the locking tab for an easier fit to MIL-STD 1913 rails. Like their original BattleGrip Rail Grip, the SCAR panels are made from high strength, heat, and impact-resistant polymer made from a proprietarily blended resin, precision molded to exact MIL-STD 1913 rail specifications. Their special polymer formulation has an added bonus of protection against barrel heat. It is also impact resistant thanks to a scientifically formulated material with a correct elasticity factor to lend flexibility while also giving superior strength. |
