Wait 24 hours, remove tape and reassemble your weapon.

After a 24 hour period I removed the tape, and reassembled the weapon. I added an OD Specter Gear sling and of course put in a 20 round mag to see how the final product looks.

At this point dusting off the weapon is a good idea, spray paint tends to leave a dusty coating on everything and removal with a light brush will prevent the dust from getting on everything that gets near the weapon, and even worse, in the moving parts of the weapon.
