Another product to come out of Original SOE's collaboration with a number of US Naval Special Warfare shooters. Designed to combat helmet droop and sag created by heavy forward-mounted PVS-18 and PVS-15 NVGs, the NSW Strobe/Battery Ballast mounts directly to the helmet by way of adhesive velcro on the helmet's surface. The NSW Helmet Ballast securely carries the MS2000 Strobe and six each CR123s and AA/AAA batteries. The MS2000's pouch, like our standalone Strobe Pouch, does not interfere with the operation of the strobe in any way -- a reinforced window allows the strobe to activated or deactivated without requiring removal. The batteries are held on an internal pull-out tray, ideal for organization, secure storage, and easy removal and insertion into devices even while wearing gloves or with cold hands.
