The M.A.R.S can be adjusted for various selection of rifles or shotguns 32" to 45" in length. This scabbard can be mounted in an upright as pictured or to an inverted position, as well as mounting on left or right side of a platform. The stock boot is permanently affixed, and can be folded over for inverted mounting for an open top application. The muzzle boot can be easily adjusted or can be affixed to a desired length by use of MALICE clips. A coiled tooth zipper with a nylon webbing pull located on the muzzle boot allows for easier access. There is a 1" strap with use of side release buckles helps secure the muzzle from a rocking motion within the scabbard. An optional carry handle or strap can be mounted to the scabbard, as well as shoulder straps if desired. The 24" x 24" tri-fold body has sufficient amount of MOLLE webbing on the outside to attach other modular items to it, and when not affixed to a platform can be utilized as a small shooter's mat.
