It also provides a secure anchor point for knives and torches that have pocket clips. You can also insert the cover flap into the band, it keeps the pouch in the open mode for CQB. Round corner cover flap: no more annoying cutting edge, and will not catch on anything. Bartacked pull tab: super strong and easily access even with gloves on.
